PicPass — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05

PicPass helps you create a compliant passport or ID photo. It is built to be private by design: your photo is processed entirely on your own device and is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Your photos

Data we collect

None. PicPass has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no cookies. The only information kept is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) and never sent anywhere:

Payments and the optional print-sheet unlock

Creating and downloading a single photo is always free. Unlocking the tiled print sheet is an optional one-time purchase handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. When you enter a license key bought through Lemon Squeezy, PicPass sends that key, and nothing else, to Lemon Squeezy once to check that it is valid. Older bundle keys (they start with FIT1) are checked on your device, with no request. After that, the key is kept only in your browser's local storage and isn't checked again. Your payment details are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy; we never receive or store them.

Third parties

Aside from Lemon Squeezy (only for the optional purchase/verification described above), PicPass makes no external network requests. The face-detection engine and fonts are bundled into the app itself.

Children

PicPass does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Photos are never transmitted or stored.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected here.
